All Hemp
We believe in the power of industrial hemp, a plant product that's legal in all 50 states of the US since 2018 for adults of an age to smoke, and it's grown from the same cannabis plant as recreational cannabis, or "weed". It's binomial name is Cannabis sativa L, but we only carry cannabis that is certified to be industrial hemp. Industrial hemp is defined as hemp grown with less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC (Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol), the main psychoactive component in cannabis purchased outside of legal markets.
This doesn't mean that psychoactive hemp products are banned, however, as we've seen in the rise of hemp products containing Delta 8 THC (Delta-8 tetrahydrocannabinol, often abbreviated as D8 or △8 - THC), a variant of hemp products with a psychoactive cannabinoid that is similar, though less potent, than the similarly named Delta 9 THC. Both cannabinoids contribute to what user's may describe as a euphoric "high" feeling, but the Delta 8 THC is a lower potency, though different users are affected to different degrees.
