Strawberry Milk Choker

Creating this line of charm necklaces, chains and chokers felt more like play time than work. I wanted to work with some excess materials I’ve had to repurpose as well as come back to the themes of childhood symbolisms and finding joy in simple things. 

One of the brightest memories of my childhood is strawberries. Foraging for wild strawberries in a forest that felt like a different realm, dicing them to help my grandma make jams and preserves, eating a big bowl of strawberries and sour cream for breakfast. A lot of times in our childhood feel like magic and sometimes you want to hold on to those moments for just a while longer. These necklaces are a charm for beauty, joy happiness and healing.
